Style Equation ~ Equation Mode

I am so excited to introduce this new feature on the blog: Style Equation!
I have always been a bit of mathematics fan (no wonder that by day i'm an accountant in training) i used to love solving equations at school/uni and i have noticed that fashion has its own equations that need solving thus the birth of Style Equation...
I will be using the formula y=ax + b where y is the style issue that needs solving, x and b are the knowns and a the unknown needed to make it work - follow me?

So let's get straight into it!
Today's Y= updating work wear for fall/winter
let x=black skirt and b=blouse
You agree that x and b above are the go to for work wear but can easily become dull so why not introduce a= a long sleeve jewel top underneath the blouse for some double duty of keeping warm and color blocking perfection! Let me know what you think of this workwear look for fall but also whether you like the idea of Style Equation as a regular feature on the blog! (oh and by the way if you have a style equation that needs solving let me know and i will try to solve it!)

top/haut: Gap (bought on sale for £1.99 ~ achete en solde a £1.99)
blouse/chemisette: Reiss
skirt/jupe: Reiss
flats/ballerines: Burberry
